Hayward
To report urgent instances of flooding: call the Hayward Streets Division between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. at (510) 881-7745. After 4 p.m. up until 7 a.m., contact the Hayward Police Department non-emergency line at (510) 293-7000.
Calling 9-1-1 should be reserved only for medical emergencies or to report an urgent or emergency public health or safety risk.
To report downed or dangling power lines, call 9-1-1 immediately and then Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E) at (800) 743-5000. Stay away from and don’t touch downed or dangling power lines. Up to six sand bags are available to Hayward households and twelve sand bags for Hayward businesses during rain storms, free of charge. Bring your ID. The sandbags are located in front of the Hayward Animal Shelter at 16 Barnes Court. Loading assistance is available upon request during business hours. Call (510) 881-7745 during normal business hours (Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) to schedule a pick up. For after-hours assistance, please call the non-emergency Hayward Police line at (510) 293-7272.
San Leandro
If you experience emergency flooding or if a downed tree or limb causes a hazard, please use the following contact numbers:

Sand and Sand Bags are available to San Leandro residents at the Public Works Service Center (14200 Chapman Rd) and Fire Station # 12 (1065 143rd Ave - Sand and Sand Bags are located down the driveway behind station # 12). Sand and Sand Bags are available 24/7 (While Supplies Last). Limit 10 bags per San Leandro household. Please bring your own shovel. Residents must show ID.
Dublin
If you come across any flooding or downed trees due to the storm, please contact Dublin Police at (925) 462-1212. To report a power outage, please call PG&E at 800-743-5002. If you see damaged power lines or electrical equipment, call 911 immediately.
Sandbags can be picked up from the City of Dublin Corporation Yard, located at 5709 Scarlett Court. In addition to a limited supply of pre-filled sandbags, a self-serve station, with bags, sand, and a shovel will be available. Please limit the number of sandbags taken to 10 or fewer.
Pleasanton
Those who see flooded areas should call the Operations Services Department between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at (925) 931-5500. Flooding should be reported to the Police Department at (925) 931-5100 on weekends, holidays and during the regular work week, Monday through Friday, between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Residents can pick up free sandbags at the City of Pleasanton Service Center, located at 3333 Busch Road in Pleasanton. The sandbags can be picked up at anytime, and are located in the parking lot under a brown tarp. The sandbags are for Pleasanton residents only.
