Assemblymember Quirk is recognized by the California Small Business Association

SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Bill Quirk (D-Hayward) was recognized by the California Small Business Association (CSBA) for his help and commitment to small business growth in California.

“Finding ways to help small businesses thrive has been a central component of my work since being elected,” Assemblymember Quirk stated upon learning of the recognition. “Small businesses are the backbone of California’s economy and are at the forefront of innovation. I thank CSBA for the recognition and look forward to continuing to help small businesses during the 2017 legislative session,” he concluded.

Each year CSBA honors members of the Legislature for their work in helping small businesses thrive.


Elected in 2012, Bill Quirk brings his PhD in astrophysics and career as an educator and scientist to the State Assembly. He is the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials.
