COVID-19 Telephone Town Hall
I invite you to participate in a telephone Town Hall regarding COVID-19. The goal of this telephone Town Hall is to allow you to hear from experts about the virus, worker’s rights, and small business resources.
Thursday, April 9th, 2020
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Participating experts are:
- Dr. Arthur Reingold, Division Head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health
- Jenna Gerry, Senior Staff Attorney (Work & Family Program), Legal Aid at Work
- George Warner, Attorney (Wage Protection Program), Legal Aid at Work
- Julie Clowes, District Director, U.S. Small Business Administration San Francisco District Office
You may send email questions in advance that we will do our best to answer during the telephone Town Hall. Because of the volume of RSVPs we are expecting, live questions will not be possible. Please email your questions to Karishma.Khatri@asm.ca.gov by noon, Wednesday April 8th using the subject heading, Town Hall Question. Whatever questions we are unable to answer in the 1 hour time period will be responded to by my office.
There is limited capacity for this call. Those who wish to participate will need to RSVP by 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8th. A follow up email will be sent to you before the call with the call-in instructions.
